Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who dream only at night.

done for the daily shoot – monochrome shot taken with a lensbaby which creates a dreamlike feel I think. I love my lensbaby. Converted to black and white in lightroom. If you don’t have a lensbaby you can create a similar effect using photoshop.
Wow! Amazing photo. And thanks for adding the link to the app you used.
thanks lee – I used an actual lensbaby lens on my camera for this one but I have now added a tutorial of how to do this type of effect in photoshop.
I love this. Mostly for the incredible photo. I like the high contrast black and white.
Also, though, E.A. Poe is my distant cousin. I was given his complete works when I was 8 years old (and I read them!). You quote him and I’ll be happy. 🙂
wow – what a great present to get. my dad and I used to watch all the movies when I was little. i am a fan.
I don’t know if you play any video games, but there is a dream world in this one game called Dragon Age: Origins. They call it the Fade–a place where humans go to dream and mages go to connect with the spirits. This looks like it was taken right out of that environment.
Hi Matthew
I don’t know that game but I love the idea that this window could be such a way to go to the place of dreams or the spirits.
